How to activate your McAfee licence key
McAfee activation codes are redeemed on McAfee's activation page and linked to your McAfee account.
Before you start
- Remove other antivirus software from the device.
- Have your activation code ready.
- Use a McAfee account registered in the same region as your key.

Go to the McAfee activation page
Open the official McAfee activation page (mcafee.com/activate).

Enter your activation code
Paste your 25-character activation code and your email address, then continue.

Sign in or create an account
Log in to your McAfee account, or create one with the same email address.

Install McAfee
Download the installer from your account and run it. To protect more devices, choose “Add device” in your account and send the link to each device.
Troubleshooting
The code is reported as already used
