How to activate your Bitdefender licence key
Bitdefender keys are added to a Bitdefender Central account. From there you install protection on each device.
Before you start
- Uninstall other antivirus software.
- Create or sign in to your Bitdefender Central account (central.bitdefender.com).

Open Bitdefender Central
Sign in at central.bitdefender.com with your Bitdefender account, or create one for free.

Add your key
Go to “My Subscriptions” → “Activate with code”, enter your activation code and confirm.

Install on your device
Go to “My Devices” → “Install protection” and follow the steps to download and install Bitdefender on this device.

Add more devices
Repeat “Install protection” on each additional device covered by your plan.
Troubleshooting
The code is not accepted
Check that the key matches the product (for example Total Security vs. Antivirus Plus) and that you typed it correctly. Then contact us with your order number.
Existing subscription
Adding a new key for the same product usually extends the current subscription period.
